You can either run around the small circle while it despawns or be aggressive and fight the boss inside. The Builder will move to the middle, mock Eivor with a cheasy and stupid line and bring his giant hammer into the ground, beginning Phase 2.Īlmost immediately in Phase 2 the Builder will use his signature move for this phase – a hammer ground bash, which will create a small enclosed circle. When the boss reaches half of his Health (congrats :P), a brief cinematic will trigger. A quick dodge or just springing out when you see him lift his foot up will be enough. When he stomps the ground with his foot, all you have to do is avoid that area. He will use that move if you are too far from him. The boss also has the ability to quickly close distance to you. Interact with the center of that spot, where the little white dot is to pick up a temporary boost for your attacks. The Heavy hammer smash attack will leave rippling effect of circles emanating from the place where the boss hit the ground with his hammer. He is quite slow and easy to avoid, though. In phase one the boss will mostly swirl his giant hammer around. From 50% down to zero is the second phase, which is more challenging and interesing. First phase lasts until the boss drops down to about half of his Health. In the next segment I will tell you more about the special attacks and abilities the boss has in his disposal and then I’ll share a few strategies and builds you can use to defeat the Builder.
